THAT VOICE FROM THE COSMIC DISTANCE...

Do you hear a faint gobble gobble coming from the cosmic depths?

Be warned, stargazing on an empty stomach can lead to strange sensations. Can you see what we see in this image of the Orion Nebula (M42) captured by NASA Hubble and the retired Spitzer telescope?

Like the young stars feeding on gas in this nebula, we're dreaming of Thanksgiving dinner!

THAT VOICE FROM THE COSMIC DISTANCE...

Image description:

This image of the Orion Nebula shows an explosion of gas and dust in shades of pink and orange, with some bright white and yellow spots near the center and darker shades of blue and green around it. Stars speckle the entire image, which is space black around the edges and corners. The shape of the nebula looks vaguely turkey-like, with a pink “head” in the upper left corner and “feathers” spreading across the lower right side of the image.
