HOUSKA CHATEau/ Czech Republic

It is not known when this castle, which is 1 hour away from Prague, was built. Imagine such a castle that it has neither a kitchen nor a garden! But on the ground floor there is a hole leading to hell. The end of this hole to hell is invisible.

Thanks to the seal on the hole, it is believed that it keeps the demonic beings inside and prevents the passage to this world.

According to the legend; the devil is imprisoned in this hole and sealed. Then the devil's screams start to be heard. After 30 years, the seal is opened and a creature with a wrinkled body and white hair comes out of the well.

ELTZ CHATEau/ Germany

With a history dating back to 1157, this castle is open to tourists. Eltz Castle is believed to be the bedroom of Countess Agnes.

According to the belief, Countess Agnes died while protecting her castle from bad people. That's why her armour and battle axe are still on her bed. Perhaps this is exactly why the castle is still one of the favourite places to visit.

FRASER CHATEau/ Scotland

Built between 1575 and 1636, the castle is famous for its flamboyant architecture, the beauty of its grounds and its gardens, as well as for its terrible urban legend.

According to the legend, the young princess living in the castle was murdered in her sleep one night. The princess is dragged down the stone stairs leaving a trail of blood. Since that day, the blood stains on the stairs have not been cleaned. Some nights it is said that the spirit of the princess still wanders around the house.

Built in 1274 in a cave in the centre of a rising cliff, the castle is a little different from other castles.

According to local legends; Emperor Erazem Lueger lived in this castle. There are secret compartments in the castle that the emperor used as torture chambers. One day, the people who could not stand this situation anymore killed Emperor Erazem Lueger in one of these torture chambers. After that day, the spirit of the emperor haunts the castle.
